From Pinnacle Peaks Trailhead, outside Scottsdale, Arizona; the weather locally had been shifting and for the locals, cold. A rain front was forecast for evening so I drove up the Trailhead hoping for good long range shots across the desert.

I got these, the fast moving rainstorm and clouds provided quickly changing views and colours as the depth of cloud filtered light at different levels.

Jacob’s Ladders came and went with rapidity and in the case of the top image were blurred and extended through the falling rains.
