Wet sands, falling Sun

Titahi Bay boat sheds – the last tractor sits waiting for the final boat to return at the end of day on the water. The tide falls far enough that the water is less than knee deep for over 100m from the edge of the sand, so the crew walk ashore, then back the trailer out to bring the boat in.

The hills in the far background is the northernmost tip of the South Island.
