Colour is everywhere in India. The Golden Fort in Jaipur was spectacular in itself, we rode elephants up an undulating path while children employed us to buy puppets and other souvenirs from under the beasts feet.

What I was struck by was the vibrancy of the clothing worn by the ladies, reds, gold, saffron, pink and blue, all gleaming in the strong sunshine and glowing against the sombre yellows, browns and golds of the stonework of the Fort itself.
