The New Zealand Cabbage-Tree or Cabbage-Palm grows across NZ either in stands or as a single. On the top of hills above Island Bay there’s a small stand which gets blown one way in a Southerly, then gets reset in the next Northerly.

This was in reset mode on a calmish afternoon……
